We're moving away from looking at graphic novels as a whole, and into looking at their parts.
Today, we're going to begin looking at PANELS.
The panels are boundaries--the contents of a panel tell a part of the story. There may be an actual panel, or the panel may be implied. That means that the scene tells part of the story, but there is no physical line showing the border.
Plot panel: Develop the plot, or the main events of a story.
Character panel: These panels develop individual or multiple characters
