ISOLATION...

According to the dictionary the definition of the word ISOLATED is to be far away from other places, buildings, or people.  The word also means that a person has minimal or no contact with anyone else.  For your opening activity you will look at the following panel from the story Jenifer and in a Blog post explain how the artist creates a sense or feeling of isolation for Jim and you the reader.  You will then pick out 2 other panels that you think creates a feeling of ISOLATION. Make sure you insert the panels on your blog post. I will show you how.

Think about how the panels are constructed by the artist. Where are the characters placed?  How is lighting, shadow, and perspective used?  Where is the "camera" placed for your eye to see what is going on?  Think about these things before you answer the question. Remember to find at least two other panels that illustrate this sense of ISOLATION...

Oh wait...One last thing because I'm soooo annoying...In the same post explain why Jim is ISOLATED in the first place.  Is it done by Jenifer on purpose?  Or is it a result of something else like guilt for her crimes?  Make sure you give evidence from the story for your answer.
